I have a variety of talents all thought I'm not sure any would be used here!! I've been a cake decorator as long as I can remember!! I specialize in "cut out cakes". I'm also a licsenced Real Estate Agent in Florida. I'm involved in a certain Home Party plan that sells gorgeous crystal bakeware. I also worked as a Customer Service Rep for a major airline before 9/11. I love all of these jobs. They are all fun and gratifying in their own way. I guess if you were to sum it up you could say I have lots of SALES experience. Oh and I am the "ONE" in my family and circle of friends that everyone goes to for advice or an ear! I hope some of this can help in one way or another-if not today then someday!

Okay, so this lady has never posted in this thread and I guess I'm long overdue...eh?

I have a BSE in Social Science. I teach Junior and Senior English as well as Advanced Literature and Advanced Language. I am also the Journalism teacher and sponsor for the school newspaper and the school yearbook, and finally... the cheerleading coach.

My passion? Learning. If I don't know it... I want to know it.

I thought I had posted here as well, but I guess not.

I have a really weird background. I have a BS in English from the U.S. Naval Academy. I graduated in 1997 and became a Naval Aviator in 1999, flying helicopters. I've been on shore duty (non-flying orders) since 2003, and my last day of work is in 3 WEEKS!!! YAY!!! It had been an honor serving my country, but I am SOOOOO ready to move on.

My passion is what I'm taking up in my next life. I'm studying to be a Lactation Consultant and will take my HUGE test in July to become an IBCLC. I really enjoy working with moms, ESPECIALLY those who've had complications that result in premature birth. I think it's SO important to give moms the breastfeeding support that they need after a trying ordeal, as well as give these kiddos the best start in life.

I have posted before about my skills and I just realized that I can offer captioning services for meetings/conventions for the hard-of-hearing/deaf community. I would love to be able to expand out to those women and families who have been affected by PE.

What I do: I'm the PR director for the Arthritis Foundation in Southern California. I have 9 years of publi relations and communications experience, specializing in non-profit communications. I'd love to help out by raising awareness of the Foundation, especially here in California, maybe starting with the Saving Grace gala and next year's walks.

I'd love to talk to you about your automotive contacts. I'm wondering if any of them might want to sponsor our events. I am putting on a televised fishing tournament to benefit the foundation next May and could use some sponsors to fill the TV spots.

We always need PR people. Have either of you spoken to Carol Hamilton? She can point you in the right direction. Thanks so much for offering to volunteer.

Your PE Sister,
Alli
