Yes, meg, I do!! I emailed Lori about this last night. There is a children's museum in Columbia, called EdVenture. It's owned by the same people that do the one in Charleston, but yet it is even bigger I think, based on looking at their website. It's

Plus, I just saw on their site that they have a traveling exhibit based on Peanuts (charlie brown) which Andrew would LOVE. It ends at the end of the year, though, so if we plan to do this in the spring, my family may need to go even sooner to catch that exhibit! [:)]
Anyway, it costs about the same as the zoo, and is open on weekends and sounds great. I'm up for this anytime you guys are, and also open to other ideas. I guess things in Columbia are probably best for the centralized location.

Yeah, Jennifer suggested that last night and I haven't had time to look at the website yet but it sounds great to me! I say we definetly plan something!! The only thing about November for me is that Joey hunts a lot in Oct & Nov so I'd be going solo...My sis might could come w/me. I mean, it's not as if dh and I are attached at the hip, but he does help me a lot w/the kids...Guess maybe I am spoiled Cassie..LOL! I am game for anything though. I had such a great time and Hunter was telling everybody we saw today that we went to the zoo w/people from the board...LOL..That's what he calls it. I do think Columbia is probably the best thing centralized and all. How long did it take each of you to get there? I know we talked about it Saturday but can't remmber now. I know for us it was 2 1/2 hours coming back..going down was a little longer but we hit game traffic too. I think it would be fun at some point to do a weekend thing maybe at the beach or something!! Anyway we can discuss it over the next few weeks and get everyone's feel for the month they want to go..if we want to shoot before Christmas or in the spring or what.

Ya already know my vote...ASAP...hehehe I am so impatient. It took us about 2 1/2 or 3 hours, dont remember I slept most the time. Lori you are a big girl, you can take care of the kids LOL. Bring your sis, I surely dont mind :)

Deana that is too funny. Stephen has always looked like peanut fit him. In case you could tell in his pics, he has a pretty big head :) I love it though. I think from the top to the bottom of the state is probably about 6 hours so we are relatively close. Im about 1 1/2 hours from Jen and not sure how far from Meg

It took us 1 hour and 35 minutes, I'm proud to say. Although that was with me driving 80 all the way....lol.

November is cool with us, just like we originally were planning for the zoo trip. Also, you know we'd love a beach thing, especially since we're so close to pretty much any beach. When I was growing up in Spartanburg, the only beach I ever knew of or went to was Myrtle Beach. Since living here, we now know of so many more and actually ones I like better....Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, Folly Beach.....the list goes on and on. Let's keep brainstorming and coming up with some more plans. ASAP!!! [:)] [:)] [:)]
