One of our posters asks the following question: "I was wondering if light periods/thin uterine lining were associated with PE - it might affect the embryo's ability to make a good attachment, or it might suggest that the spiral arteries were not inclined to provide a good blood supply."
On that note, are there hormonal changes associated with perimenopause, or with chronic hypertension, that might also be causative? One of the Experts has said, in the past, something about "the hormonal profile associated with chronic hypertension" -- what does that mean?
