One of our posters asks the following question: "I was wondering if light periods/thin uterine lining were associated with PE - it might affect the embryo's ability to make a good attachment, or it might suggest that the spiral arteries were not inclined to provide a good blood supply."
On that note, are there hormonal changes associated with perimenopause, or with chronic hypertension, that might also be causative? One of the Experts has said, in the past, something about "the hormonal profile associated with chronic hypertension" -- what does that mean?
Do you have a burning question you just have to ask our Medical Board Experts about hypertensive pregnancies? Please email your question to email@example.com Keep in mind, however, that we won't be able to answer every question and our docs can't offer medical advice and won't be able to comment on specific medical cases.
