Anyone within spitting distance of Pgh?

Now that I'm finally here and we've finally found a house... anyone want to get together? I've a grant due in November 6th but after that I'm good.

Any suggestions as to what we might do? Where we might go?

Catherine, I live in Bridgeville. Just south of Pittsburgh. We just moved and got settled in during the end of Summer. Where are you at? I seem to remember that you were going to be working with the Children's Hospital. It would be nice if someone who is super familiar with the city to give some suggestions on something to do. A fun place for kids is the Creative Play Center. We will have to make some plans!

Yea for you Amie! We're only just settling in ourselves. In fact, we don't actually move into our new house until the end of this month. We'll be living in Westview (Ross Township) which is in the North Hills. Caryn lives probably closer to you. In terms of fun places we've been to with the kids the Zoo is excellent (especially the Aquarium which has those awesome Australian Sea Dragons to see) and we've really enjoyed a couple of trips to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History (they got to "excavate" some dinosaur bones). We should definitely make some plans now that Caryn is back in town.

Laura, I know. I keep looking at my overwhelming travel schedule for work and think...hmmm...PA...PA...what do I NEED to do in PA. :) See good friends?! Currently, given the fact that I've been gone once every week this month, I think my first big "trip" for me will include the family (can you believe I have to spend time with those guys??)
