chapter in upstate New york

I live near Albany New York and was wondering if there is a local chapter or is anyone thinking of starting one.

I just read this post.Seems the closest chapters are in New Jersey. If you are intrested in starting a local chapter you should contact anne. Also, there is a topic on this forum about starting a chapter. I am sorry I don't have the link on hand..but it's here[:D]

I'm the designated chapter/state group person here at the PF and would love to talk with all that are interested about starting a new state group in NY. We do not currently have an established group there and are always looking for those that are interested in leading local efforts in their communities.

Hey, Suzanna!! I didn't realize you were a fellow New Yorker. That's pretty cool!! There really aren't too many plans right now as I just signed on as coordinator last month. I'm still waiting on the list of people in this state, so that I can introduce myself and try to work on something. If you have any ideas or suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I think I need all the assistance I can get to get things going for NY.
