Just wanted to know if there were any plans about us Wisconsin girls getting together anytime soon.

We haven't talked about anything lately, but I remember discussing it at the Dec meeting and Anne Marie suggested a picnic over summer.
Are you interested in getting together soon???? We could try to arrange something in the next month or two.
Also for WI members, Ann Marie and I do not have the time available to plan a walkathon for WI. It's something we are both disappointed with, but just can't tackle it ourselves at this time. I, personally, am walking in the MN walk. Since the rest of you seem to be southern, maybe check out if you can make it to a walk nearby. We're driving over to the cities (3.5 hours) and making a weekend out of it. If you can't do something like that, you could always sponser me!!;) Sorry, I couldn't help myself!

Since I missed the meeting in December (sniff, sigh) I would love to meet up with you guys anytime. A picnic sounds like a lot of fun too so whenever you guys decide let me know.

Well, we can always try to plan something for this spring. I'm up in Wausau, and I think the rest of you ladies are all down near Milwaukee. I can drive down for a Sat afternoon possibly. I'll talk with Ann Marie about it.

Hi Lucy!!! As far as I know Beaver Dam is the only participating city in the walk-a-thon. And I am the one who is doing my best to get things going here!!! I am so excited! I have never done anything like this before so I am kind of in the dark but things seem to be going smoothly for me so far. I secured a location today, around one of the school blocks on a major street so we will have lots of exposure. I am waiting for a call back from the city on whether or not I need a permit. I have one gas station signed up for a money donation and donation of 2 cases of gatorade. 2 other smaller companies are going to donate some money. I have a handful of interested walkers but no one is registered yet. If you can think of anything that would help PLEASE jump right in! Feel free to e-mail me anytime nbagneski@aol.com.

Welcome Lucy! I'm up in Wausau, so I'm fairly close. The rest of our "active" members are in the Milwaukee/southern WI region. I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your little ones to this horrible condition. How are you doing? My heart just aches for you. Please feel free to post here on the boards, or contact us by email with any questions you may have. This is a great place for support. I'm so happy you found us. We are here for you if you need us.
