Walk A Thon 2007

I wanted to start getting a feel of members in the state of Pennsylvania who are interested in either planning, participating or coordinating an walk-a-thon?

If your interested in coordinating, but have not planned a walk-a-thon before, I will more than happy to help and guide along. So, don't be intimidated. [:)]

Also, we have only had walk-a-thon's on the East side of the state. How about the West this year?

I would love to help. I am not sure if Dawn is still running the walk a thon in pottsville, or if you are combining the two events at any rate I will do all that I can to help.

I would be willing to help! I prefer not to coordinate a seperate walk (I think it is wise to combine efforts), but I could easily get approval for the site we've used the past two years in Pottstown which is on the Pottsgrove School District grounds. No matter where it's held or what you need, count me in as a supporter.

P.S. Julie Kimble and her husband (from suburban Phila area) expressed interest in helping.

I am in to help to! Most of the sponsers and walkers that I had last year expressed interest in doing it again this year. I can help or co-coordinate with the baby due close to the walk date I can't take charge.

Where are you holding the walk this year, just so I know and can plan to attend? I can also assist with sending out brochures/registration forms to all my family and friends in PA.

Not a 100% sure where, as who ever steps forward to coordinate the walk will be chosing the site. So far, all the memebers that are interested are located on the East side of the state.

Hi Ladies -
I talked with my sister and Mom and they are willing to help me with coordinating the walk for 2007. They helped last year with getting sponsors and doing fundraisers. So I feel pretty good that with their help we could have a wonderful 2007 walk. Now I just have to find a location. I am going to start contacting a couple places in the philadelphia area that I have in mind.
