It was a pulmonar embolia, not a emphysema that cause her death.

Thank you all for your thougths and kind words. Find this forum and you people is one of the best things I ever did.

Hi Friends,

Yesterday Larissa, the little one, passed out at 5:30 am. She got a pulmonar emphysema. You can imagine how me and my family are feeling. Yesterday also was her funeral and burial. Precisely I was able to saw her and Clarissa the day before (friday) thanks to a special permission Zuly got for me from the head nurse of the NICU. It was like she was waiting for me.....

Now the only thing I can do is still praying for Clarissa, begging Our Lord to let her stay with us....

I can't write more at this moment, please excuse me.

Hi Wanda,

I also wanted to welcome you and to wish you congratulations on being an aunt! I am glad to hear that Zuleyka is home and doing well.

Like Catherine said, having babies in the NICU is such a hard thing. Somedays are good and others are bad, and sometimes it feels like you are taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Please let us know how the twins are doing, and how you and Zuleyka are doing. It sounds like you are a wonderful, supportive sister.

I will also keep you, your sister, and the twins in my prayers. I hope that they continue to grow and thrive, and are home soon.

Hi, Wanda. Catherine sent me here to write to you, since I am the mom of two boys who were preemies in the hospital for many weeks. My oldest son is 4 years old now, and the baby is 18 months old, and both are doing very well.

Let us know if we can help in any way...maybe some of us who have had preemies before could answer questions for you about what is happening to your nieces. Hope that they are doing well, and glad that your sister is home now. Are the babies still in incubators? Do they have ventilators (tubes in their mouths to help with breathing)? If there is anything you are concerned about, we might have some information for you that could help, so just ask.

Please continue to visit here and update us on how the twins are doing. Good Luck!
