Moved back to Colorado

We moved from Southport, North Carolina to Grand Junction, Colorado three weeks ago. The trip was 2,100 miles of driving. 11 and 12 hour days. I felt so sorry for the girls. They were troopers though. We are glad to be back. Is anyone else around here? I lived here over 20 years ago so I am enjoying seeing my childhood home, schools, etc. Well, hello to all here in Colorado.

Hi Barbara! I am just glad to meet you. What is Boulder like? I have never been there. Even when I lived here before.

Caitlyn, It is nice here, though very expensive to live in boulder.
I sort of like it, but sometimes miss the midwest where I grew up, people seemed more simple and more of a sense of community than here. I may stay here though because frankly it is hard to pack up move, make new friends the older one gets I think. I've been here about 6 years now.

Hey Joyce! I was actually born in Denver at St. Anthonys hospital (is it still there?) A childhood friend of mine is in Denver today waiting on the birth of a baby to a mom (her sister in law) via c-section who lost her first baby the day it was born. Please say an extra prayer for her. She told Lisa that she just wants to be able to hear the baby cry.

One of my close friends lives in Grand Junction, we just visited her a couple weekends ago. Very nice area. I am in colorado springs.
