Looking for a friend

Hi,

My name is Kim and I have been mostly involved with the pregnant again group. It was suggested that I post a message here. I am 17 weeks. I gave birth to my little angel 8/6/04 at 30 weeks due to sudden severe PE. My little girl lived for 6 weeks and did not survive her second bought of NEC. I had a miscarriage on her birthday 8/6/06. I then saw a fertility specialist and here we are pregnant at 17 weeks. My anxiety levels are extremely high at times. I don't have any friends that can relate to my fears that anything could happen. I thought I'd post here and see how active this group is. Do any of you who live in the Phx area meet up for lunch/coffee or anything? I could sure use someone that is close by that I could talk to occasionally.

Hi Kim,

I just now read your post on here. I am not currently pregnant but I have my son who was born at 33 weeks and will be 2 in August! I live in Central Phoenix and if you would like we could meet up for lunch or coffee sometime. Let me know I am always here!!

Kim, I just read your post today. I am so very sorry for your loss. I had PE with my first pregnancy, which was very touch and go, but ultimately made it to 34 weeks. Despite trying for over a year and half, I had a lot of trouble getting pregnant again. I finally did IVF and after an ectopic pregnancy in which I lost my tube, and a miscarriage, I am now 29 weeks pregnant. I have always been terrified of being pregnant again after PE -- in fact, I went very far down the road of arranging for a surrogate since I was doing fertility treatment anyway. I live in the Cenral Phx area as well and would love to be able to offer you any support I could.

Glad to know there are some other az mommies out there!! We gals should try and get together sometime soon.
