New Executive Director Hired!

Please welcome J. Thomas (“Tom”) Viall as our full-time executive director. Today is Tom's first day on the job and he brings a wealth of non profit leadership experience with him. Prior to joining us, Tom served as Executive Director of The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.

We are very excited about having Tom join us, and I know he is anxious to get immersed in the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. The Foundation's volunteers will continue to be an integral part of the Foundation's success and will continue to serve in key roles and should take inspiration from the tagline that appears at the bottom of Tom's emails. "Please remember this . . . it is rarely, if ever, 'I,' and almost always, 'We.'"
