My walk went very well, thank you. I am ready to do it again next year. What part of Texas are you in? I might need some help if I can get anything going in the area, maybe I can come down and steal some of your ideas!

Hey gals,
I might be a West Texan soon enough. We are flying to Midland for husband's final interview on Sunday this week. I'd be in the Midland area. I'll be so sad to leave my Wisconsin PE buddies, but at least I won't be alone in TX.

I'm closer to Ok than I am to Dallas.

And Kara as my friend said last night, "The farther I get away from Texas, the worse the food." Welcome to good cooking! And I asked my mom about the blizzards in Midland. Um yeah.... I wasn't even in pre-school yet.... Snowed a couple times a year, lasted a few days and was gone. Maybe half a foot of snow. But when you are 4, that is a blizzard.

Nicole- I agree with you about the food in Texas, I think that applies to a lot of the south!

So you probably aren't more than 3 hours drive from me. I am hoping to find some people up this way who would like to help out, but since you aren't too terribly far from here maybe I can come down and see what you have been able to accomplish.

Kara- keep us posted on how the interview goes, seems like you have done a lot for the WI area, maybe it is your time to help people in TX. Good luck!

Hi, I am from Oklahoma City and coordinated the first Promise Walk.... Would any of you be interested in helping with next year's walk? It really has been a healing for me as I feel I am doing something good in Em and Connor's memory. I could use help with next year's planning for sure... my number is 405-343-0395 :)
