I'm bfing yeah, oh and cannula rant

I'm the one that posted about reglan. It worked for me and I'm breastfeeding my 24 weeker and she loves it lol.

I can not keep the nasal cannula in her nose to save my life. I even put new stickers on. We will turn around and it will be in her mouth or up on her forehead. Any tricks to help?

My daughter was always eating her cannula. I don't think there is a good solution, at least we never found one.

We found paper tape worked better than the tender grips, sometimes the combination can help. Nothing keeps it out of their mouths or eyeballs, so just try to put it back when you can. My husband got really good at putting it on fairly tight, which helped.
Congrats on the Reglan success and BFing your daughter! That is fantastic news.

As for the cannula... we had the same issue, Jaidyn would wiggle her little fingers under it and yank it out *unreal to say the least*
I agree with "tree" on the paper tape and tightening the tubing.

Noah, in the ISCU, always pulled his canula out of his nose and would put it in his mouth. I think it's totally a "preemie" thing needing to suck on anything nearby their mouths. Yay on the BF!!!!
