Sending an email

Postby rosalinda » Fri Feb 27, 2009 00:10 am

Hey there, I tried sending an email to 'missgamecock' two days ago..and I don't think Sabrina received it. How can I verify that
the email was delivered in the first place, and that there were no
system problems?

Thanks.

Ahh, I think what you're looking at is a sort of "private message system"- and what we have here is a tad more simple. The software knows the email address, and gives you a form that will let you email to her email address without revealing what it is to you. So, with the system operating properly, unless you get an error message you can assume that it was sent.

There isn't any way to verify it was received- she could have an old email address, or her spam filter might see the email we sent as bulk mail. (our system has been flagged as a spam sender because of the quantity of registration emails we send out)

Best bet? Mention in a post you reply to an already existing thread that you'd like her to email you through your profile.

Email is not working. It brings up the box, but when you press send, nothing happens? Tried several times and closed browser and reopened it and it would not send.

Laura, it didn't come through. I checked the spam mail as well.

Sabrina...do you have a myspace or facebook account? Maybe I can get in touch with you that way?

Carole - we all are, I think. It is known and in hand, however. Hopefully we'll be back up and running soon.
