"Volunteer News", the Preeclampsia Foundation's quarterly newsletter has volunteer openings for the following:

- Writers

This position does not require you to be a professional journalist. Anyone with an interest OR experience in interviewing people and writing articles, is encouraged to participate in this quarterly volunteer position. Topics are discussed via a conference call and assigned by interest and experience. This role requires approximately 1 to 2 hours of volunteer time per quarter.

- Editors/proofreaders

This position also does not require you to be a professional in this field. Anyone with a strength in grammar, spelling, and attention to detail is encouraged to participate. This position also requires 1 to 2 hours of volunteer time per quarter.

Volunteers can be both writers and editors.

-Newsletter Coordinator

The Newsletter Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the production of the newsletter. This position requires about 10-15 hours of volunteer time per quarter. This person will help determine the content of the newsletter with the Executive Director, assist in preparing the layout with our professional staff, assign articles, as well as write and edit when needed. A more detailed "job description" is available for those who are interested. Experience with Newsletters or similar publications is helpful.

To express your interest in any of the above positions, please contact Jill Siegel (our current Newsletter Coordinator and Saving Grace 2009 Chairwoman) at: siegel.jill@gmail.com

This is an excellent opportunity to support the PF and raise Awareness!
Thanks,
