Hang in there! Mason took a while too, but once he got it there was no turning back and he nursed to 22 months!

Jealous!!!!!!! I am a DAY away from quitting. Been pumping since March 15th-------he will NOT latch well and sleeps thru when he should be eating---can't risk his weight :(

Yay for Evie and her Mama!! I can truly understand your joy - it took Aurelia (and me) 9 weeks to get the hang of breastfeeding... I'm hoping it will be easier the second time round too...
So happy for you!!! :-)

Re : Evie is exclusively breastfeeding!
Whoo hoo! Wonderful news. WTG little girl! :)
Evie is exclusively breastfeeding!
She is 3.5 weeks old and has been home for 2 weeks. I haven't pumped in over a week and she has taken almost all of her feedings from the breast (except for a couple that Daddy gave her from my frozen stash). I am so proud of her! It took Mason a couple of months to figure out the breast after he came home, so I am just delighted that we are on track already!
Evie was 4 pounds, 6.4 ounces when released from the NICU, and was 5-4 on Friday. She has been crazy cluster feeding in the middle of the night for the past couple of days, so she must be going through a growth spurt. The pediatrician is thrilled with her growth and so am I!
