Met my workout goals again with three runs, including my longest ever on Saturday, one good bike ride, one hike, and pilates yesterday. I think I balanced that out by making my best friend a totally evil four-layer, pudding-filled birthday cake, made with more cream, butter, and sugar than I would normally eat all year. Absolutely, totally worth it. I had it for dinner on Wednesday and breakfast after a run on Thursday.
This is going to be a hard week for us because one of our dogs has gotten too anxious to be safe around our daughter. We are heartbroken about re-homing him and stressed about keeping everyone safe. Learning to handle that without pounds of chocolate will be good for me, but it won't be easy. This is the first time in my life that I have been too stressed to eat. I can't believe my skinny friends actually live like this.
