SC GET TOGETHER

Just wondering how many of you would be interested in trying to get together..maybe sometime in the fall. I went back to the "Where's Everyone From" post and it looks like there is me in upstate, Meg in Spartanburg, and then Cassie and Jen in the lower part of the state. I was thinking Columbia might would be a good spot..it would basically be midstate for everyone. Thinking we could maybe do a day at the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia and we could make it a family thing w/dhs and kids. What does everyone think? We went last October or November and it was pretty nice..weather wasn't too hot..had a good time. You can reply to that post or email me directly at lori.land@senecanb.com. If for some reason you don't get a response to that email (from time to time it will block out some emails) just post on here. I always check the active topics.

Hi, I love your idea. We would be up for something like you suggested (the zoo or whatever), although if it's a Saturday you have in mind, November is much better for us. My DH teaches high school band, so every Saturday in Oct. is booked up for him with competitions, etc.

Anyway, it would be great to get together and meet some of you guys, as well as see my sis and her kids (Meg) since we don't get to very often. The best e mail address for me is not the one I listed when I registered on this site....instead you should use: jgossett@behs.com. I will definitely receive mail sent there, and look forward to making some plans with all of you. Thanks for the inspiration!

Sounds good girls! If you can all email me directly with your email addresses I will get an email out to you and see what we can get going. I think November would be a good month. That way it should be cool but not freezing cold. Does November not work for anyone?

Will do Meg...I plan on sending out an email to the SC bunch sometime the first of October to check everyone's schedules. It looks like there are 6 of us from SC...

WOO HOO...not that I am glad 6 of us have been affected by this..but still..you know what I mean! LOL!
