LET'S START A MICHIGAN WALK!

Hello: My name is Jamie Schmidt and I am working with the National Walk Coordinator, Becky Sloan, this year to ensure succesful walks across the country.

I would love to help coordinate a local (Michiagn) walk. My husband and I did do a "Family and Friends Walk" in June of last year and raised just over $1000. But I know if we combine our powers, our areas and our determination we can do amazing things.

I don't think we have a very organzied group of Michigan survivors and families and I would love to start one.

Just curious where in Michigan are you? Sorry about your loss. My husband and i are going through the loss of our little one as well. The hospital i delivered him at does a lot for the parents and family of little ones who do not make it. If you just need someone to talk with feel free to e-mail back. Kristin

I too am sorry to hear about your loss. We live near Flint, but I would love to start a walk anywhere from Lansing to Detroit area or elsewhere.

Incidently, what hospital were you at? We started out with a poor hospital choice (and doctor choice) but ended up at ****** which was a life saver!

Hello! Not sure if this forum is still going on since the last post was in December 2009, but I wanted to mention that I'd be interested in a 2010 Michigan walk. I'm in the Ann Arbor area.
