Experimenting
Re : Experimenting
My arm is at heart level I believe because its a wrist cuff right?
Re : Experimenting
Taking BP laying down is a bit tricky too, because you have to have your arm at heart level, not just resting on top of or under your body. That may skew the numbers.
Re : Experimenting
I guess its just super weird to me to see such low numbers when on meds I was pulling #'s 160/130's after delivery you know? Its like Im shocked! But I guess in a good way!
Re : Experimenting
Nope not on any meds...we stopped that 6 weeks PP...im no 5 months out...
Re : Experimenting
When you take your BP lying down, do you wait a while and rest?
I take mine sometimes right after I wake up in the morning, before getting out of bed, and I get readings of 110/55. My doctor thinks that's fine.
If you worry, ask your doctor next time you see him/her.

Re : Experimenting
Are you still on BP meds? Sounds like you don't need them! If you're not, those are GREAT BP numbers as long as you aren't light headed or anything.
Re : Experimenting
Any takers on this?

So upon experimenting with my BP I realized that when laying down its around 88/53...should I worry or no?
Sitting up its typically 96 or 110 over 65 or 70's
