I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/Omron-Automatic-P ... B000I4K6NE
Easy to use and have tested it at least 3x at doc office. All accurate.

Re : A good Blood Pressure cuff
I have the ReliOn for women you can buy it at walmart for about 50$ i took it into my docs to see how well it worked they actually recommend it and the reading i got on mine were the same the docs got on theirs.
Re : A good Blood Pressure cuff
I am not sure, but since the doctors use the cuffs, I'd think that would be more accurate.
Here is a link to a study (from 1998 though): http://bio-medical.com/news_display.cfm?newsid=60.

I guess, I will ask my doctor when the time has come for a new monitor.

Are the wrist ones or cuff ones more accturate?
Re : A good Blood Pressure cuff
My MIL was in the market for one last Christmas and bought several that she hated. I did some research and got her this one, Omron Elite 7300W Womens Avanced Blood Pressure Monitor, which she really likes. It comes with 2 cuff sizes instead of the comfort fit one-size-fits-all, which apparently didn't fit her well. :) It is rated number 1 on consumer reports and you can get it for around $60 on Amazon. I think it is what I'm going to get to replace mine, since it seems to being going kaput too.
Re : A good Blood Pressure cuff
I might be looking into such a purchase in the foreseeable future myself, b/c I am not sure how long my machine will hold up. I thought perhaps the nurses or doctors might have some knowledge of what is considered a good home monitor.
Re : A good Blood Pressure cuff
I guess I should have clarified...I need the monitor!
Re : A good Blood Pressure cuff
Is it just the cuff? Or, do you need the whole thing?
I would think that Consumer Reports would be a good place to check ratings on different cuffs and monitors. I also found this link: http://www.consumersearch.com/blood-pre ... rs/reviews

A good Blood Pressure cuff
My BP cuff is starting to go kaput. Any input on a good BP machine?
