I may get my vitamin D levels tested too. I have an allergy to dairy, and don't get any in my diet. Even though I live in Colorado where I'm getting good sunlight, I wonder if I generally get much less vitamin D because it is added to milk?

I wanted to post a follow up, I just found out my vitamin D is low even though I live on the sunny Texas coast and my daily multivitamin contains 800 IU (but I haven't been taking it every day, more like every other day). My vitamin D level was 19 out of a reference range 30-60. And I have a positive ANA.

TextSO was there a difference when you took your vitamine d with calcium? Did you get Preeclampsia? My vitamine d is an 8 should be between 20-100 just redid test to see if it is back to normal.

My OB did not want me to take those levels as well. I am on 1,000 iu plus whatever is in my prenatal. My levels are still 23...we are watching my vit d levels every month or so to make sure they do not get too low. They were 11 pp last time
