Weight Loss Buddies Fall 2010 Week 1

Hi Everyone,
Sorry this is a bit late. It will be a regular occurrence... I am in CO, so mornings come a little later here, and Tuesdays are my new Mondays.
Off we go!

Starting weight - 158
Goal Weight - 135
Height 5'6"

I lost a pound (somehow) between the last edition of WLB and this morning. I am training for a half marathon in mid-october, which has helped a ton. I am also working harder on diet this time around and trying to eat more fruits and veggies and stay out of the kiddo's snacks. My long term fitness goal is to be able to skate ski a 20K course this winter in my old, and once comfortable, ski pants.

Starting weight-156
Goal weight-130
Height- 5'4

Goals--To bring my borderline high cholesterol down to a normal level! And also to incorporate more exercise!

So, I've lost 29-ish and have 25-ish to go...

Hi everyone!

Current weight: 147
Goal weight: 120
Height 5'0"

I started The Rice Diet (basically a vegetarian diet) yesterday and am down a pound. Hopefully I can stick to it!

I am excited that we are getting started again!! I thought about you ladies as I extended my run yesterday and stayed out of the animal crackers last night. Thanks for that!
Trish - let me know if you ever need vegetarian recipes. I have been veggie most of my life, and we love to cook. Fresh, brightly colored vegetables and fruits can make dieting much more enjoyable, especially right now.

Kelli - Your weightloss is amazing - Congrats! I hope we can help you get to your goal before the new year.

Beth - Happy exercising! It is finally cooling down here and making it much easier to get out often.

Hi ladies, I thought about joining, but there is just no way I'm posting my weight. NOT going to happen. So I won't officially join the weight loss buddies, but I'll set out this goal for myself
pre-pregnancy weight: x
top of pregnancy weight: x + 16 (to 24 wks. pg)
current weight: x-13
goal weight:x-40
so 27 to go!

kerisue - There are no rules in weight loss buddies. Join us if you think it will help you. We are here to provide encouragement and support. Nobody is required to post "the big number". We all fear it. I do it because it keeps me running. Feel free to join and post your changes (good or bad). We are here to celebrate those losses and help each other through the gains and plateaus.
