So my 29 week preemie went to the eye doctor and has an astigmatism. Is that preemie related? I don't know why this makes me sad :( Any thoughts of any type appreciated.

Could be, but my full term daughter an astigmatism. She got glasses in second grade, and contacts by fifth grade. Often times, I think it is just the luck of the draw......
