Ready for this week to be over with

I am so ready for this week to be over with. A year ago today I woke up and realized there was blood. I was hospitalized for a small tear in my placenta. It was a couple of days into the hospital stay after steroids stopped masking liver and kidney functions that the doctors realized that I had PE. My BPs were consistantly in the normal stage. I ended up delivering Cooper on the 20th at 24 weeks, 2 days. This morning I was so terrifed to get up for fear of seeing blood again. I wish I could just zone out this week and quit reliving every moment from a year ago. I hope every May is not going to be this hard.

Kristy, sometimes it would be nice to have a fast-forward button. Reliving those moments are really, really hard. I am sorry for the tough days that you are having right now. You're in my thoughts. Wishing you peace and healing. (((HUGS)))

the anniversary of my daughter's birth is coming up soon too. sometimes it seems like just days ago, not a whole year doesn't it? I'll be thinking of you and Cooper this week.

Thanks Ladies! I made it through the week. We took Friday off and tried to keep ourselves busy with things so I could try to avoid thinking about losing Cooper. Although my 3 year old make that difficult to do because he was determined that we had to get a birthday cake, balloons and a present for Cooper and talked about it all Saturday and Sunday. I felt like a broken record by the end of the weekend explaining the whole heaven concept to Davis. I ended up making a birthday cake and allowing Davis to blow out the candle for Cooper which felt nice so I think we might make annual thing so we can remember Cooper and remind Davis that he does have a little brother in heaven.
