It is a really good article. I hope they do lots of research (and soon!) into its use and the possible help it could give to us!
Our first son was born and passed in Feb of 2010. Born at 29 weeks due to HELLP and passed due to NEC. We miss him every day. :~(

Our second son was born at 39 weeks gestation in Nov of 2011. No HELLP or pre-e! Took LDA starting at week 12 and went off of it at week 38!

Has everyone had a chance to read Caryn's article? It's very well written and chock-full of good information and above all easy to read. Caryn has a gift for making research make sense for the rest of us :D . Does anyone have any questions - or has she done such a good job that there's just nothing to talk about?!

l-arginine supplementation - the new research

Postby caryn » Tue Jul 05, 2011 11:26 am

A new study came out this month evaluating supplementation of l-arginine as a means of reducing preeclampsia risk. There was a lot of media coverage – you probably had friends and relatives copying articles like this to you on Facebook – and there’s been some discussion of it on the Preeclampsia Foundation forums as well.

Why did researchers think this might work?
