Pain unfortunately is international.
I am writing from Greece.
My sister Christina age 35 gave birth (first pregnancy) at twins (boy and girl) on Monday 7 of November around 11 am.
Next day around noon she complained for pain in the back and that she felt dizzy.Gradually her situation was getting worst.
After an MRI and blood exams which shown the damage to the liver doctors proceeded to a surgery.
Τhey remove the uterus to prevent bleading but apart of the lιver,there was complication to the kidneys which worked for 3 hours from 19.00 till 22.00 but after 22.00-22.30 she collapsed.Α multiorgan failure occured.Finally she passed away at around 3 am of 9 November....

I am so so sorry for your loss. Preeclampsia and HELLP are terrible diseases. I hope your family can find comfort in your memories of Christina.

So very sorry about your loss. HELLP and PE can come so very unexpectedly, it is a terrible disease. I have lit a candle in memory of your sister Christina.

Oh I am so sorry. It is so hard when you lose a baby to this disease yet we here about it too often. When a women a mother looses her life to preeclampsia it is so very shocking to me. To us on this site,we too grieve a sister with you. With a heavy heart I send you love and strength.

I am so sorry for the loss of your sister and for the two sweet babies who will have to grow up without their mother. Every loss due to this disease is a terrible tragedy. I'm so sorry.
