Hi everyone!
I'm so sad to be here and read all of your stories BUT comforted that so many people know what I am going through. I posted earlier but made some mistakes (

) so I will repost. I lost my daughter October 17th. Basically, my doctors missed my preeclampsia. I had gone to my pcp on October 12th because of carpal tunnel syndrome. She sent me directly to triage because of my swollen ankles (hadn't even noticed) and high blood pressure. She suspected preeclampsia. I had chronic hbp since 2007 and was on meds. I also have lupus. My MFM advised me to stop taking the meds when my bp became normal for some reason 2 months into the pregnancy. Turns out, my bp was high actually on three occasions before I delivered my daughter including my visit to triage on October 12th.
The triage doctor never checked my urine for protein. If she had, she would've most likely discovered protein. Anyway, she discharged me with blood pressure never going below 171/100. I was given two Labetelol tablets while in triage. I was happy when she told me I didn't have preeclampsia. I did.

I don't know for certain if I had preeclampsia that night. All I know is my baby's heart was beating strong and I ended up in the ER four days later and had my daughter the next day. I also had HELLP. We held her for about an hour. It was sweet. I will try again once my blood pressure is stabelized. Thanks for reading.
