pressure in the mid right back

Postby momof4as » Mon Mar 12, 2012 05:57 pm

Has anyone else had pressure/severe ache in the mid back on the right side, I had it with Aidyn before I was diagnosed with PE and lasted through the remainder of my pregnancy ....
It has started again, and I'm wondering if its PE related...

It's possible that is one of the symptoms of an annoyed liver - epigastric pain on the upper right side of the abdomen, by the lower ribs - with the pain sensations referred to the back. Are they running bloodwork periodically?

Ack! If I read your siggy right, you're diagnosed with PE and there's been no updated bw?! I think I'd want that right away. Once we were diagnosed we did weekly 24hrs/bw.

I had terrible upper back/side pains with my first, it turned out to be "normal" pregnancy related... back managing the growing (in our case too quickly growin) belly. I'll keep fingers crossed it's normal pregnancy stuff... are you on bed rest? I remember that being anything but restful and making everything hurt!

We were waiting for my perinatology apt, I go this morning I guarantee I will have to do BW and other tests after that apt.

I am on limited Bedrest, because I also have Transverse Myeletis I cant be on full bedrest or I'll end up back in a wheelchair before I have the baby and they are trying to avoid that and other things that go along with the TM, like bladder/bowel shut down, if I continue to move around, the TM wont be exacerbated and I wont loose the little strength that I still have left.

This pregnancy is complicated...

With my BP's going up to 150/90, severe headaches, swelling, ect. PE was diagnosed in the hospital last week and I was told to get with peri quickly... I go at 930
