I started out, gaining 6-8lbs one month, then nothing the next. I was working out lightly the first 4 months until the edema set in and it hurt my feet to even walk. I was an avid spinner and worked out 3/4 times a week right before I became pregnant, had so for 2years. I started out at 150lbs in Oct, by March went to 200lbs. So in March I gained about 20lbs in one month, but doc did not like that but told me to restrict my cals. I told him, I don't think you understand, I eat greek yogurt, banana, and cereal bar for breakfast, cheese sandwich and fruit for lunch, a snack after teaching and maybe a veggie burger for dinner with frozen fries. Im not eating bad. I don't touch fast food. Well it could be the water weight, he thought, but still limit your cals. I instead limited my salt, no salt bread, no salt butter, shopped at Trader Joes the whole time, looked at labels, got lowest salt cheese/cereal/everything. Restricted my salt to about 500mg-1000mg a day, very low for anyone. I finally lost 3lbs in April. Kept it off until my miscarriage at 32 weeks this May. Love you baby Soleil, I can't stop thinking of you!
