Well I just had a great appointment with my MFM. It sounds like the doppler he did on me is a bit different than what some of you ladies have had? It was not on the cord, but on my uterine arteries, so not tracking the baby's system at all. It does sound like what he's looking for is the same though, just checking for notching or irregularity. He also did do the doppler on the cord, but mostly focused on the uterine arteries... he said it looked "textbook." I know from what you've all told me this is not a guarantee by any stretch of the imagination, but it does make me happy none the less. Baby was also measuring great, he's in the 54% for size. I'm 22w 1d and he weighs about 1lb 3oz. We will have another u/s in 4 weeks checking his growth.
I'm still terrified.. but it's starting to feel more and more real, that this little boy is my rainbow!

Our first child, Peyton Mark, was born sleeping at 33 weeks on Oct. 25th 2011. Developed pre-e at 32 weeks.
Pregnant again with what I pray is our rainbow baby, due Oct. 14th 2012. Will induce labor no later than 38 weeks if we make it that far!

I can't speak for any others, but yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about. They were watching the blood flow through the umbilical arteries that is going to the placenta/baby.
