Alexa - congrats on the bikini! That is the true weight loss acid test! I agree on recording a consistent number rather than a specific weigh in day number. I only weigh in once each week, and I think that is why my numbers fluctuate so much. I think I forgot to weigh in this week. I remember something like 143ish, so maybe down a half pound or so, maybe not. Work and the heat have completely fried my brain.
cgoodi1 - congrats on getting back to the gym. I found it hardest to get back during those first few months of weight loss. Hauling the extra weight to the gym makes you MUCH stronger, so there is a major benefit! Good luck getting to your goal weight. I topped out at just over 200 lbs right before my daughter was born, and this group really helped me get back down to to a healthy weight.
I have been eating fairly healthy foods all week. WW turned me into a fruit junkie, and I have been living on berries for the last couple of weeks when I haven't been traveling. We just started getting our farm share for the summer, and today was our first fruit pickup. I think I ate a pound of cherries, which is probably healthier than the pint of ice cream I was considering. I hope you all have a healthy week!
Does anyone have any good summer recipe ideas to beat the heat? My husband made some really yummy lettuce wraps with rice noodles, seitan, peas, peppers, and other random veggies. They taste wonderful on a hot day, and they force me to eat more lettuce than noodles.
