Evicting Baby Tomorrow

Well, we tried to make it to 37 weeks, but that just isn't going to happen. I bombed all my appointments today have strict instructions to go in if anything changes, gets worse, and to be at the hospital tomorrow at 5pm to start our eviction... I'll be 36w1d. I have no idea how I feel about it... upset.. relief.. everything in between... at this point it is what it is and maybe it's good to just be done. Two MFMs with two different opinions on if we're super-imposed or chronic with proteinuria (480, started at almost 200), so we'll wait and see how my pressures look tomorrow if we'll include mag into our induction plan... crossin crossables I can skip that this time around!!

I can imagine that having it made almost to the finish line, but not quite, must bring about a lot of different feelings. I will keep you in my thoughts. Good luck to both of you!

9/16/2012 ~ Michael Leon was born, God is so good! Severe pre-e again, induced at 34 weeks, c-section due to baby's heart decelerating with each contraction. 1 week in NICU. I'm done! :)

Wow, I have been following your pregnancy since we have some similar issues. I was really hoping you would make it to the end without any more problems. I wish you the best of luck with the labor and delivery. Please post with details! My prayers are with you and your little one for a safe and painless delivery.

Thanks. Things have held steady today, so we'll go in tonight for the eviction. I'm hoping that baby will have some super awesome strong lungs, since we were stable for so long, and were with our last pregnancy that we never did steroids and doesn't have any negative effects from the late onset GD or my stupid bp and poly.

Wishing you easy labor and strong healthy lungs! With my 3rd we were just trying to get to 36 weeks & we planned to do an amnio that day but I looked & felt so awful we skipped the amnio and my OB sent me straight to L&D. That was right at 36 weeks and she had great lungs & never need O2.
