Hi, I am new member who happened upon this organisation while searching for what just happened to me. Was 23 plus weeks pregnant and loving it when headaches sent me to Urgent Care and soon after hospitalised for high BPs and protein in urine. Within one week of hospitalisation, I have been very sick, lost my first child...a boy, and now one week later, back home and trying to make sense of it all.

Welcome...and I'm so sorry to hear that you had to go through all of that. There are a lot of really intelligent ladies on here that I'm sure can answer many of the questions you might have. I'll personally keep you in my thoughts and prayers:)

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my first child at 21 weeks 6 months ago. It was the hardest thing I ever had to go through. Preeclampsia certainly is scary and can happen very quickly. I found this website really helpful. People are always willing to talk and to answer questions. Please feel free to send me a message if you'd like to talk.

I'm so sorry about your loss of baby George. It's the most devastating thing I can think of to happen. I remember that feeling of trying to figure out what the heck happened to me. The day I went in the docs were telling me I could still make it to 28 weeks or even 32... a few hours later I was being delivered. This terrible disease can move very quickly as you found out. I hope you find some information and comfort here.
