Gavin Walden arrived August 4th

Postby Shannonlynn » Sun Apr 01, 639573 6:53 pm

Hi everyone! I have been so crazy with getting the breast feeding going that I haven't gotten a chance to tell everyone my news. At 37and 4, my water broke mid-morning and I started having contractions soon after. I was admitted to l&d around 1 pm and labored pretty hard later in the afternoon. By about 7:30 pm, the doctor felt I was getting worn out, so they brought in the vacuum. Three pushes later and I had my boy. He is perfect!! I did not get an epidural because I had taken my lovenox before everything started. It was just fine without it anyway. PE didn't ever surface and I feel great. I had awesome doctors this time and I never once felt things were not going well. I feel so blessed to have such a beautiful child.

Congrats-yay!
Our first son was born and passed in Feb of 2010. Born at 29 weeks due to HELLP and passed due to NEC. We miss him every day. :~(

Our second son was born at 39 weeks gestation in Nov of 2011. No HELLP or pre-e! Took LDA starting at week 12 and went off of it at week 38!
