Waiting for my peri appointment on the 19th, which could be the start or the end of this journey... and waiting for my test because of the abnormal pap on the 20th... I really hope that turns out to be nothing, I keep telling myself tonsssss of people get abnormal paps that are nothing and last year was fine... Sigh. I just want to get the project started if we are going to do this before I chicken out again!

Thanks guys! I hope it goes by fast to :-) I have been trying to eat healthier this week which really messed up my tummy :-( I'm going to have to cut out all fruit and veggies again and then add them back slowly to see which ones I can/can't handle. Sigh. I was eating steamed veggies, so I am thinking that it might have been the oranges... but I love oranges!

Boo on the messed up tummy. I hope you can figure that out. You can try cooking the heck out of everything, but that really takes the fun out of eating it. Good luck with the oranges. I would miss those too.

Trying to learn to live with Crohn's is proving to be challenging :-( I ate junk food friday and stomach felt much better saturday, saturday I had a sweet potato and some turkey chili and so far today it hasn't been toooo bad. ugh, I want to eat healthy, but it is looking like I am going to have to have healthy food in very small portions and just learn how to eat less in general.

My doctor swears that sweet potatoes are really good for the tummy. They are also pretty nutritious. I finally braved the scale this morning. I am up three pounds on the "you don't have Chron's but eat like it anyway" diet. That counts two weeks of minimal eating. We need to find a better way around this GI stuff.

What I think is crazy is as bad as much stomach is I don't think any of the calories should count LOL But yet, unless I am in a major flare I still gain weight. When I was exercising every night my stomach did seem to improve... So I guess I should start doing that. I could totally live on sweet potato though, so I guess if they don't upset my tummy I will be eating ALOT more of those. I read eggs aren't supposed to upset your stomach, but for some reason I think they upset mine. I would just love to be healthy with no medical mysteries to solve or try to work around.. but I know it could be worse, so I'm trying not to complain toooo much.

I used to be able to eat anything and still lose weight during a flare. Sort of the silver lining in the cloud. Gaining weight while involuntarily eating crap and feeling terrible is just wrong. Eggs are actually good for me, but they have to be well cooked and not greasy. Can you eat lean meats? I have heard that those are good, but I am vegetarian. I do tend to eat more tofu to replace some of the veggie matter when I am having a flare.
Feel free to complain any time. I hate this. I know there are worse things in life, but this sucks.

It really really does suck! I think I'm okay with lean meats. I seem to be okay with greasy meats to LOL Like McDonalds my tummy loves. Makes NO sense. Pizza, I'm good with. I think yogurt, that everyone is supposed to be okay with bothers me though. I'm trying to keep a log of what I'm eating and if it causes any problems to see if I can narrow down what is causing the problem. What is more confusing is one day it seems to not bother me and the next day it does. Hopefully we will both solve this mystery LOL
