So funny you mention that! Just today my moms cardiologist told her to tell me NO SALT WHAT SO EVER in my diet lol ugh, so may different people saying different things that just don't know or understand! Hope u enjoyed your chicken anyway lol!! Any results back yet??

Lol! I didn't enjoy! I threw it away. She totally spoiled my appetite. The cardiologist is uninformed just like the nurse! Still waiting on urinalysis. Ugh. I wanted to go to work tomorrow... after I make sure I'm ok of course. I hope results come back soon and they're favorable!

Protein is 598. Ugh! Wasn't expecting it to be that high. I'll see my dr in the morning to go from here. I'll keep you guys posted!

Sending you so many good wishes and thinking of you there! I remember what a lifeline my phone was for me when I was in the hospital. I hope that knowing we are all thinking of you and surrounding you with support from where we are gives you the support you need. So glad you are being cared for and monitored, however misguided some folks may be (RE chicken, for ex.

Hang in there!Eclamptic seizure in labor 12/1/09, age 39. Son born very healthy at 42 weeks and 9 lbs 4 oz via C section. PE had been suspected (by me) but not diagnosed by homebirth midwife. Pregnant again with #2, due 3/9/13.

I'm on a low salt diet, but I'm a chronic hypertensive.. so it's part and parcel to control my blood pressure. For pre-eclampsia, low salt does squat!
1st son, induced at 37 weeks due to pre-e, born 6/18/10.
2nd son, c-section at 37 weeks due to hypertension, born 1/15/13.
2nd son, c-section at 37 weeks due to hypertension, born 1/15/13.

The nurse just told me I need to be on a salt restricted diet. Lol. I just shut up. Well, I actually asked what's the recommended daily intake... Guess what, she didn't know! Anyway, I have no problem doing that if it works. I don't eat flour, sugar, or yeast for lupus! That is hard. I will do whatever it takes. Just don't give me misinformation. I'm so curious to see what my dr says about bed rest and sodium restriction. He should be here shortly... I will be asking!

So... I'm home. Instructions are to report immediately if after I get a reading above 160/105 if doesn't go down after a 30 minute rest. Yikes! I'm also to report if I have visual disturbances like seeing spots or blurs, upper gastric pain, vomiting, severe headache, and/or swelling. Otherwise, I see him next Friday and we just wait this out til October 1st. Any suggestions??

They really said go back to work?? Ugh, I don't know if id go back to work. How r u feeling? My suggestion is stay home with your nook and phone and relax as much as possible for now.Watch movies, Stay hydrated!
