Milestones?

I thought it might be helpful to start a topic where we can celebrate the milestones we have hit and affirm what our next milestone will be. I find it helpful to get through the last weeks by finding something to look forward to/strive for. Baby and I hit a major milestone today. I am 31 weeks today, which is the point where my preemie was born. He will be 13 in two days. The next milestone I want to get to is Oct. 1. That will be my son's first home football game, and I really want to be able to go! So what are your milestones?

33 weeks today! Baby Emma weighs 5lbs 3oz. According to the ultrasound. Next goal is to make it to delivery day on Oct 17th (scheduled csection planned at noon)!

I am only 15 weeks so I haven't really hit any of my milestones yet but 20 weeks is a big milestone for me. With DS he was already measuring about a week small at my 20 week ultrasound and my BP went crazy high about a week later. I am already getting nervous that I am only 5 weeks from when everything went crazy with DS!

Passed a pretty important one on monday, which I posted about. That was 32 weeks 6 days, when I was admitted to the hospital with my first. The next big one will be 33 weeks, the day my son was delivered via c-section after a long and difficult failed induction on mag... I look at my feet first thing in the morning every morning. If I can still see my ankles, that gives me hope that this pregnancy could carry on to....who knows how long. Just taking it one day, one week, one milestone at a time! I'll be 33 weeks next tuesday.

Julieb, so happy for you getting to 15 weeks! Praying peace for the next 5 weeks! Bmore, I understand what you mean! My gauges are my wedding ring and a scar on my foot! As long as the ring fits, and the scar is still sunken in, all is good!!! Next Tuesday will be here before you know it!

One of my next milestones is coming up on Tuesday. I will be 30 weeks then My next goal after that is 32 weeks. So far everything looks good. Am just plagued by the usual pregnancy ailments like sore back, poor night sleep, tiredness, heartburn if I eat to big a portions or lie down too quickly after eating.

Awesome! So happy for you! Sounds like 32 weeks will come and go no problem. But I know it seems like forever!

Hit 20 weeks last week, and the only other milestones I'm really looking for now are to get through the holidays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. 37 weeks would be Jan 15th, which is what I'm hoping to reach before needing to deliver.

I'm thinking about asking my mother-in-law for a doula this year for Christmas. She likes buying big, expensive presents, and it would be nice to have somebody to help take care of me with my hubby's attentions split between me and the 2 year old.

congrats! I wish my mil was like that! I was just sitting here plotting a plan for healthy boundaries with mine this time. Last time was a disaster that she is still complaining/hurting my feelings about!
