Ok, we hit 34 weeks Wednesday! Estimated weight on ultrasound was 6 lbs. Doctor even showed me the layer of fat on his arm! But, my bp was high again, so I went for my 3rd visit to L&D in 12 days. This time, though, my doctor put me on Labetalol 100mg twice daily. Up until this point I have been scared to death of the medication. Wednesday I was actually happy. Within 30 minutes, my bp readings were already coming down, and this morning, my reading was the best it's been ever. Labs looked great, and we repeated a 24 hour urine. Still waiting on those results. Next milestone is to get through my doctor's appointment on Tuesday without a subsequent visit to L&D, and to make it to my baby shower next Saturday!

I will be 36 weeks tomorrow, so today was my last dose of aspirin! Woo hoo!

Now everyone is commenting about how big I'm getting and how big the baby will be. I need to keep reminding myself that the comments are way better than the alternative! I'm 3 weeks past my son's delivery milestone! I can hardly believe it.

Made it through my MFM appt without being sent to the hospital! My BP was a little high, but he said he wasn't worried, and didn't want to up my Labetalol yet. Baby looked awesome. He agrees with my OB that we are shooting for 39 weeks, so eviction date is November 15th or 16th depending on when they can schedule my c-section. Bring on the baby shower, and let the nesting commence!

I made it to my baby shower!!!! But only after a quick trip to L&D for an NST because I couldn't get little man to wake up for the life of me!!! Now I feel like he could come any time now and I would be ok with it. I have some MAJOR nesting to do, but if it doesn't get done, it won't be a big deal.

Going back to the MFM at 1:00 this afternoon, but I'm not sure we will be coming back home today. My ankles started swelling, and no matter how much I rest or drink water, they never go back to normal. The thing that worries me most, though, is a pain in my right shoulder blade that doesn't go away, even with Tylenol. I had this pain with my HELLP pregnancy, and they dismissed it as gallbladder pain. Well, I no longer have a gallbladder, so that can't be it this time! Frankly,I am scared to death.
