Well, all labs turned up good and bpp was good, so they sent me home. Must just be muscle pain. This kid is in it for the long haul!

What a relief! So glad it turned out ok.
My ankles started to swell this week too, but bp and dipstick are good, and the swelling did improve with rest. I was kind of freaking out thinking this was the end. But I'm at 37 weeks, so it would be a world of difference if I had to be done now. My midwife is happy with me and said now we just wait. I can hardly believe I'm here. It's amazing. Of course I'm still worried that something could crop up at the end. The stress is never truly gone. There's even postpartum pre-e that I could obsess over, but for now, I'm just trying to relish every moment of being a waddling full-term pregnant lady!

Hope all of your milestones pass without any issues!

My next one will be 38 weeks. I know 37 is technically full-term, but 38 seems more complete. I'd love to have a Halloween baby! Her official edd is 11/13.

Jumping in to say that I passed 30 weeks this week. My son was induced at 34 weeks, so that is my first goal - to make it past there. However, I'm scared, and I don't really want to spend the next 10 weeks freaking out....sigh. (And to be honest, I think I might start crying if anyone even mentions putting me back on mag...)

Hopefully, this bun stays in the oven for a while, and bun and oven stay healthy.

Yay Amy!!! I know mag stinks, but the alternative is much worse! I did start to cry when my doctor decided to put me on it just as a precaution with my last pregnancy. She was term, and I had a spike in my bp and protein right at the end. But I had to remind myself that it is only temporary. I'm already prepared for it this time!

Bmore, I know what you mean. When I left my MFM's office to go to L&D, he said "let's just see what this pain is, if it is the start of HELLP, I have a great cure! Let's have a baby!" So nice to hear that instead of all the going back and forth about whether or not he is ready, and what the risk factors are. If it gets too bad, then we just get to see his sweet face a few days sooner!

Had an ultrasound yesterday to check growth. Baby is 45% percentile, doing good! They checked my arteries, too. They showed I am hypertensive (but we know that already) and I didn't see the "notching" that goes with pre-e, so I am daring to hope that I might avoid a superimposed case.

Docs upped my morning dose since my pressures are bouncing between 135-148/78-86, and I'm getting close to the end of the 2nd trimester. Trying to anticipate that 3rd trimester rise.

25 weeks! 12 to go until full term! Also, I am okayed to fly out to visit relatives over Thanksgiving, which is nice.

Awesome report and I am right there with you . 26 weeks yesterday pressures good so far but baby girl is in the 27th percentile so just hoping that doesn't mean anything other then she may be little! I am very happy for your news keep going and growing !!!!
