...and she hasn't yet been diagnosed with preeclampsia. But she has a lot of protein in her urine (don't have a number) is definitely swelled up, including in the hands, feet and face, had a very rapid weight gain in the last two weeks. The one things she doesn't have is hypertension. We are monitoring her bp but haven't had any hypertension to speak of. We are going to our normal 28 week appointment on Monday and then to a kidney specialist right afterward.
Has anyone seen all of this without the hypertension? Is it just a matter of time? So far, no bedrest, no hospital, but want to see if there are other opinions out there. From everything I can tell, it's a serious condition, but at 28 weeks, prognosis for mom and baby is still very, very good, provided we are vigilant and careful.
