Change of Plans !!

Hi girls!! So my last post was I was 34 weeks and my Ob scheduled my csection for January 29th. Well, this past Friday I was 36 weeks! Yes 36 weeks which is like a dream to me I never dared think I'd make it this far but here I am! So at 35 weeks saw my MFM who said that because I had a classical csection it is too much of a risk to have me go that far. He says it's not a good idea to risk me going that far and going into labor because with that type of scar I could rupture. He wants to do an amnio on friday the 11th and if her lungs are mature and ready they will deliver her on tuesday January 15th!! That's in 9 days gulp!!! At 35 weeks she weighed 5lbs 6oz so he was very happy with that. We will see what her measurements are this friday 2 weeks later. I am filled with so many emotions!! I am of course so happy, excited and nervous. I am also so sad mising my Benjamin and wishing he were here, afraid that preeclampsia is ready to strike last minute ugh all normal feelings I know. My Bp has been great the entire time so far and I feel really good. I have even allowed family and friends to bring us gifts because I refused to have a shower . We will have a coming out party/shower once she is born and actually comes home with us. Feeling anxious and so grateful and hopeful. I will update after amnio. Thanks for reading

Oh, WOW, that's so exciting! And scary, I know, but so exciting! Sounds like a good-sized, healthy baby! We're all rooting for you both.

My MFM is aiming for 37 weeks with me, for the same reason (previous classical c-section), which—all going well, fingers crossed, etc.—will put us in the first week of March. Less than 8 weeks, I can't believe it! Like you, I find it hard to believe I've made it this far (almost 30 weeks now!).

Yay for getting so far!

I had an amnio with Luke at 36+1, his lungs were good but my water broke at midnight and I went into labor.

My doctors weren't letting me go beyond 37 weeks with a classical incision no matter what, so we delivered Matthew at 37 wks exactly, no amnio.

Both boys did great, no troubles breathing or anything.

OMG I swear we have like some kind of connection, every time something tells me to ask how you are you have an awesome updat!!!! Sooooo excited for you! I am so beyond happy your doc moved up the date. I was hoping/praying they would because my doc told me with a classical incision 36/37 weeks is the max they like to let people go! OMG can't wait to see pics! I'm so happy you get to do things like prepare a hospital bag, and plan your shower/coming out party <3 I know our little angels are watching over you and cheering you on!!!! YAY!!!!

@ Gratiana yay! I am sooo excited and happy for you, at 30 weeks I was like omg did I actually just hit 30 weeks!!! Then finally time seemed to go at lease a little faster. @ Angie, I am a bit nervous and skeptical over the amnio she scored an 8 out of 8 last last Bpp so Im wanting to back out of this amnio possibly.

Are you getting impatient? I am! It's hard for me to be sooo close. I want this over with so my baby is safely out and in my arms, but I know it's better to wait just a few more weeks.

Ha! Yes I have moments when I think I want this all to be over I want to hear her cry, I never once in the 4 months my son lived heard him cry, he was on the vent the entire time. Then I think I will miss her in my belly, which I cannot believe it because I actually had incredible moments I got to enjoy during the pregnancy!!! Woah, 8 days to go for me!!! Ahhhhhh
