Hi all. I'm 31 wks & things are looking fine but since I had pre-e with both previous kiddos I'm being realistic that it could be coming. Both times I was on bed rest at home by 35 wks, delivered at 37. We recently moved out of state & have no family here. We do have friends but they all have kids of their own. My ILs will come if I go on bed rest but it's a 24 hr drive & with them getting ready it would likely be close to a wk til they could get here. dh's job is flexible but he does have to travel some so he can't be here 24/7.
So, looking for ideas of things to do now to make life easier if it happens. I plan to make a bunch of Pb&j sandwiches & freeze then for easy meals and some other frozen meals to make for easy heat up (can always use once baby arrives too!) I'd love to make a snack station for easy snack access but that's not feasible with my dogs bc they'd eat it - ha. Playing on the floor would be easy enough. The oldest is almost 4 & potty trained & very helpful; youngest is almost 2 and pretty independent as well although still in diapers.
Any other ideas you've used to make that time easier for all? (obviously hoping for the best but I'd feel better having a plan)
