I'm really pregnant... now I have to wait... I hate hurry up and wait LOL She said I will have a an ultrasound in a couple of weeks and once we "get a baby with a heartbeat" I'll go see the peri and we will get the game plan going. I know tons of people have babies everyday but I am a nervous wreck. I keep reading statics and they scary me! I keep trying to tell myself all pregnancies start out with just being a positive pregnancy test and then progress, this is the first stage yada yada yada... I was the same why during my last pregnant... I just can not wait to see a heart beat so I can relax just a smidge.

That's awesome news!!! Now....distract yourself! ;)

It will be a long haul, so try to take your mind off of pregnancy things(totally impossible advice to follow, I know!):-)

I'm PREPARING to TRY to get pregnant and I can barely follow that advice! I'm very excited for you and hope you can find some fun distractions along the way - Lauren

wohooo :D

It is so hard to stay calm while waiting regardless of how far along you are, but the very beginning can be especially tough if you just look and feel the same. So it seems so unreal. As we say around here, one moment/day at a time. And try to stop consulting Dr. Google. ;)

Congrats Val!! So happy for you! I know how hard it is to relax in the first trimester. Weeks 12-20 were pretty breezy for me (besides wanting to know gender!) but now I'm just as worried watching my BP and for swelling, etc. ugh! It's so stressful.

I wish you the best of luck with this pregnancy!! (I actually sent you a message on FF too and added you as a friend ;) )
