*This is only my opinion, but I don't feel Mother's Day applies to me and I'd rather ignore it. (I have other days to acknowledge my baby and my role as her mother in her brief life).
I also don't really feel like I personally *need* an Intl. Bereaved Mother's Day, but I can see how that would be helpful or meaningful to some people- shining a light on a loss that isn't always acknowledged.

As with anything related to loss and grief, we all react differently and feel ok or not ok with days like mother's day, father's day, the bereaved mother's day, and other holidays. For me I really liked it the first year after we lost Henry. It felt special to me. Then I forgot about it for two years, and now I like it again. Go figure.

International Bereaved Mothers Day... I don't think I like
One of my friends posted that it was "International Bereaved Mothers Day." I have a hard enough time with one mother's day, let alone two. I don't know who came up with the idea, and I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone that likes the idea, but I prefer to be remembered as a mom on Mother's day. Am I over reacting, or is one Mother's day enough??
