I would be concerned, too, and I'm concerned for you. If they don't call you back, or if they do and you're not satisfied with their answer, you can always go into L&D and demand to be seen. If the doctor won't admit you or at least do labs (blood and urine) while you're there, tell him/her you want it in writing in your chart that you had symptoms you were concerned about and asked for labs to be run and s/he refused. Then ask for a copy of your chart so you can make sure s/he really wrote it. Most doctors will back down and do the tests if we advocate for ourselves. They don't want to get into trouble for failing to take a patient seriously if something really is wrong, and documenting it would ensure they would get into trouble. If it turns out to be nothing, at least you know. And if it is something, then you've done your best to get the care you and baby need.
