Officially have pre-e again

Postby ellemoon » Sat Aug 03, 2013 02:43 pm

I got my 24 hour urine results and they came back at a whopping 1065  , so I definitely have pre-e again. :( I did not expect them to be that high because my BP hasn't been that elevated and I have minimal swelling.
So, my doctor has me on bedrest and says I should make it to scheduled c-section on August 12th as planned unless my BP spikes and doesn't come down or baby shows signs of stress.
Her growth scan was good- she weighed in at an estimated 5lbs 12oz at 35w4d and had plenty of fluid. Her NSTs look great as well.

So, here's hoping/praying we make it 9 more days!!

They are letting me stay at home on modified bedrest for now (thankfully). I have a 2 year old here at home and I can't image leaving her for so long. :(
I have an appt Tuesday for NST, I'm sure if BP is up that will change things. Then I have my pre-op/last ob check on Thursday, NST Friday again and then c-section on Monday!
So, I hope we can hold on for 8 more days! My BP has been pretty good when I check it at home. Last night it was 122/72 and I don't have much swelling at all. I just had a few high readings at the Dr's office (140/100 was the highest)
I do have what I think is a UTI though and that stinks. I wonder... (and this is probably crazy) but can a UTI cause high protein levels in urine?

I think UTI can make protein levels higher, I'm not sure how high though. Good luck!!!!!
