Well, I am not quite TTC but have taken the first step. I am searching for a new set of doctors. Ugg. Its not what I wanted to have to do, but the doctors who took care of me thru both pregnancies have left the Boulder practice. All my history is gone with them, It makes me nervous. But, I am not going to let that stop me. I am just going to hunt. I meet the first new doctor Dec 7th. Tick-tock-tick-tock........thinking of starting to try in Dec/Jan....ekk! How many csections and preeclampsia can someone really take; I am also on the insane boat!

Good luck! And just out of curiosity, can you even get any of your hospital records? (Assuming you were hospitalized a little bit ahead of the deliveries?)

Hi,

I've just moved to Boulder, and looking for an OB/GYN practice that is up to date on PE research and will monitor me closely when I start trying for baby number 2. My son is 7, and my pregnancy with him was terrible, I was a mess, he was early and tiny etc etc etc... I've since re-married and my new husband and I are thinking of TTC later this summer or early fall, but I want to go to a doctor who's in the know for preconception checkup and get any testing or advice about how to reduce my risk of PE in a second pregnancy. I'm not opposed to driving out of town, even to Denver if it's for a Doctor who really knows their stuff...but if I'm going to have frequent checkups I'd much rather see someone local. Is there anyone you can recommend?

How did things go with your 2012 pg?
Our first son was born and passed in Feb of 2010. Born at 29 weeks due to HELLP and passed due to NEC. We miss him every day. :~(

Our second son was born at 39 weeks gestation in Nov of 2011. No HELLP or pre-e! Took LDA starting at week 12 and went off of it at week 38!
