Congrats & welcome back!

Have they talked about how they will monitor your thyroid in pregnancy, or what your target TSH is?

My endocrinologist would have me come in for thyroid testing as soon as my first missed period. With my first daughter I need my thyroid dose upped almost right away.

Thank you so much Lauren and Caryn! You both, along with the other women on this forum, have helped me face what happened to me in my last pregnancy, wrap my head around it and move forward, and I know will help me get through this pregnancy.
Gratefully, Lauren :-)

Another one on the way!

Hi Everyone,
I just found out that after trying for a few months, I'm pregnant! I'm VERY excited, no panic has set-in yet , I'm just happy. I'm due to see my MFM in 3 weeks for a 7 week ultrasound, and as soon as I got the BFP, I started LDA and DHA along with my prenatal.

It's been 4 years since the birth of my son, and I have since developed mild hypothyroidism. My MFM is so positive about me having a healthier pregnancy than last time, I am grateful for that.

So, I have a feeling I'll be posting a lot over the coming months, I just wanted re-introduce myself, Thanks! Lauren :-)
