So glad you're doing well! I'm in the same boat. 36 weeks now and BPs highish (140/90 pretty regularly), but not super high. I had some protein about six weeks ago and did a 24 hour. I was about 250, so under the 300 threshold. Since then, my dip sticks have been clean at regularly appointment.

I'm also measuring a little ahead, which just floors me. Feeling so blessed! I feel like no matter what happens now, we're in the safe zone for a smooth landing. Good luck. We're almost there!

hi all,

so glad u're doing well lizze,,

i'm 35 plus weeks now and my bp's are starting to inch up a bit.....getting late 130's-140's over 80's-90's now.....

got growth scan ultrasound and clinic 2morrow.....so depending on what the reading is on their bp machines i will be kept on and warded at hospital or safe to go home and return next week....

depending on what happens, me or my sis gonna log in and update.....
but i am so bless to have made it to 35 weeks...baby measured 3-4 lbs and 2 weeks ahead at 32 weeks growth scan ...so by now she should be more than 4 lbs ....and so i trusting GOD for a safe delivery and healthy baby girl should they decide to induce....

well finally,

i'm here ....alive and well ....with my lil popo......thank the heavens .....it was a scary roller coaster ride....that ended sweetly.....

babygirl arrived on March 29th after being induced at 37 plus weeks......
was in labour for around 16 hours...now in the caribbean where i live in Trinidad and Tobago...epidurals are not allowed except in the high-end private institutions....so i had to do everything naturally and a c-section was not considered....
however, she came and no tearing or stitches.....

my parents named her Samuella and i named her Harmony...

my pressure levels was elevated throughout the whole process....no meds during delivery .....i had to be given oxygen....

However, had to be given mag sul.....through an IV and also with drips for 24 hours jus about a week after delivery...

methyldopa (aldomet) was discontinued right after delivery (i think that elevated me BP levels cause it had settled for 24 hours after delivery)

nifedipine together with atenonol was introduced....but me BP still is not really settling so my private family physician gonna take over ....bp jus staying at 150/100 ....but other than that .....i'm good... n she is find......

i thank GOD for his mercy and that i am able to come back on here with some good news......

gonna post up pics soon....

Congratulations! Welcome baby Harmony. I am so happy for the safe arrival of your baby girl. I hope your pressures will settle soon. Just remember that PE can strike/be an issue for about 6 weeks postpartum. I needed many adjustments (medications and dosages were switched very often) of my medications within the first 3 weeks after my daughter was born. So please keep an eye on your pressures and report back to your doctor. Can't wait to see pictures :-)
